Welcome to the Troed-yr-aur Community Council website
The Community
The community is situated in the south of Ceredigion and includes the villages of Brongest, Bwlch-y-groes, Capel Cynon, Coed y bryn, Croes-lan, Ffostrasol, Maesllyn, Penrhiw-pâl a Rhydlewis.
This is an area of natural beauty with agriculture as the main industry. The predominant language is Welsh.
The Community Council
There are 11 voluntary members working for the Council.
The committee meetings are held on a rota basis at Coed-y-bryn, Ffostrasol and Rhydlewis Village Halls on the first Tuesday of each month apart from August. All meetings commence at 7.30pm unless otherwise noted. The Council employs a clerk.
Mr Maldwyn Lewis is our County Councillor.
